Aniline, also known as aminobenzene, is an organic compound with the molecular formula C6H7N. It is a colorless oily liquid that decomposes when heated to 370 ℃. It is slightly soluble in water and easily soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and ether. Aniline is one of the most important amine substances, mainly used in the manufacturing of dyes, drugs, resins, and can also be used as a rubber vulcanization accelerator. It can also be used as a black dye, and its derivative methyl orange can be used as an indicator for acid-base titration.

Colorless, oily, yellowish, transparent liquid, tending to be darker after being stocked.
