The type DCS drill collar slips are designed and manufactured according to API Spec 7K specification for drilling and well servicing equipment. There are three types of DCS drilling collar slips: S, R, and L. They can accommodate drill collars from 3in (76.2mm) to 14in (355.6mm) O.D.
