Introduction of high-pressure one-time filling sand control technology:
Based on summarizing the advantages and disadvantages of fracturing sand control and conventional mechanical sand control, Developing the new technology for the need of sand control in loose sandstone. Based on fracturing and quartz sand filled , block quartz sand through wire-wrapped screen pipe, then block the formation sand through quartz sand, to form a large barrier range, which works better for fine sand control than other sand control measures. The sand control technology of high-pressure one-time gravel filling improves the structure and tools of the pipe string, adjusts and optimizes the construction parameters, and has the advantages of short construction period and low cost.
Advantages of high-pressure one-time filling sand control technology:
1. Filling the sand particles with uniform particle size and good roundness, into the formation;
2. Effectively improve the seepage conditions near the well;
3. with large seepage area outside the filling layer, which is not easy to form a blockage.
Disadvantages of high-pressure one-time filling sand control technology:
1. The process is complicated, with more materials needed and high cost;
2. High equipment requirements (5-10 sets of tank trucks and 4 sets of 700-mode cement trucks);
3. The annulus filling is not dense.
Scope of application:
Low productivity wells / muddy fine sand wells / heavy oil wells.
Notes for Well Selection:
1.Not suitable for the wells where production layer is near upper and lower water layers;
2.Not suitable for the wells with aging casing and poor cementing quality
