ZQ216/135 drill pipe power tong is a new type of power tong. It is applicable for drilling and well service operation. Open throat design of tong head allows the tong to escape form drill pipe freely with high mobility. The tong is a combination of spinning tong and torque tong. It substitutes cathead, manual tong and rotary rope (chain) for making-up and breaking-out. The tong features easy operation, safety, and high efficiency. The tong especially is suitable for frequent operation and long term of the drilling operation.

ZQ216/135 drill pipe power tong with greater improvement based on ZQ203-100 and ZQ203-125 drill pipe tongs features broader gripping range, larger torque, and safety door can auto shut off when the tong goes to or away from drill pipe, with high mechanization.
