Pumping wellhead polished rod sealing and anti-eccentric wear have always been difficult problems in oil recovery technology. The commonly used technology in sites basically belong to the two categories of manual and semi-automatic anti-eccentric, but the effect is not satisfied. This product uses a combination of eccentric correction and adjustment, the self-lubricating packing material and polished rod protection sleeve, and a more reasonable structural design, which reduces the friction coefficient between polished rod and packing, significantly improves the sealing and anti-eccentric wear effects, and extends the packing working time, simplified operation and reduced well stop time.

1.Main features and advantages

• The combination of the universal ball joint mechanism and the three-level centralizer sleeve can automatically undertake the eccentric adjustment, so that the sealing device can always keep moving centering match with the smooth rod to avoid the eccentric wear of the packing and polished rod.
• The packing uses a combination of tapered spiral packing and a common spiral packing, with a long service life, which is more than 4 times that of common packing.
• When packing is added, there is no need to drain and discharge the oil wells and oil pipelines, and there is no need to take out the packing. Just tighten the packing pressure cap 17 clockwise and then loosen, and add the packing directly. It changes the traditional operation method, reduces work intensity and well stop time.
• Wear is front-end wear, only 1-2 packing need to be added each time, unlike conventional devices, which need to be replaced every time wholly, which greatly saves the use of packing;
• At present, more than 20,000 sets have been applied in oilfields in China (Shengli, Daqing, Qinghai and other oilfields) and the Middle East and the CIS, which have been well adopted by users.

2.Specifications：

It is suitable for Φ26、Φ28、Φ32、Φ36、Φ38、Φ42、Φ45 polished rod.

3.Steps

(1).The polished rod should be checked before pumping. There should be no burrs and the oil contamination should be removed, meanwhile, a layer of butter or motor oil should be applied to the polished rod to prevent dry grinding.

(2).Put the sealing device into the polished rod , then connect the universal ball joint assembly seat  to the wellhead (note: When the finished product is delivered, the parts are assembled and adjusted well, and cannot be disassembled) and locking. tapered packing , rectangle packing are packed into the cavity (at least 4 rectangular packing with a thickness of 20mm must be assembled), as shown in the figure, press the packing pad , And then turn the pressure cap  clockwise. After the oil comes out, turn the pressure cap to make an appropriate adjustment until no oil leaks.
