The sand blocking device under-pump (wire-wrapped screen pipe) belongs to the oil production downhole tools, which is used to solve stuck pump, valve seat damage, sand burial and wear of oil-well pump and other problems caused by the sand entering into the pump barrel. The structure includes: up-down reducer union, outer pipe, screen pipe and centralizer device, special coupling for oil well, etc. Designed with a sand settling channel to make the sand filtered automatically sink into the sand-sinking tail tube below the pump, playing a role of sand blocking.
1、Installation operation and working principle
1) Install the device under the pump, below the device equipped with a sand-sinking tail tube with the length of 150-200m, and a screwed plug is connected under the lower part of the tail tube. With the reciprocating of the pump, the well fluid goes up to the sand blocking device under-pump, the well fluid enters into the screen pipe through the hole on the outer pipe. After filtered by the screen pipe, the well fluid is pumped to the ground through the tubing.
2) It is applicable to oil wells where the oil pump was out of operation due to sand production.
2、Main features and advantages:
1) There is a sand channel in the equipment, and the filtered sand particles will be automatically settled into the tailing pipe under the pump to solve the problem of buried oil layer .
2)Compared with the conventional sand control technology of hanging screen tube under the pump, most of the sand will be deposited in the tail pipe and will not be left in the casing and oil layer, so as to avoid sand burial in the oil layer, which can greatly reduce the work load of sand fishing and sand washing during pump operation.
3)The screen pipe centering device keeps the screen pipe in the best working condition.
4)Good reliability, long service life and not easy to block.
